Looks like it's only going to be in the States for now. :O Anyone think they'd be interested in going? It sounds kinda cool. The Cincinnati Pops did a Star Wars tribute and had a choreographed lightsaber duel and stuff, I heard it was really awesome. I love music and I think this looks like fun.

The Bounty Hunter looks friggen SWEET. And I like the trooper too. Unfortunately there isn't much else out about the classes, but I'm getting excited for this. It's over a year out, so I guess we can keep an eye on it.

... or have never even heard of Star Wars

I met some, and it appalled me at the time. Nowadays it's more rare because of how kids get to know it from other kids at school + the merchandising and how you can see all sorts of Star Wars references on TV.

But I think there are still a lot of people around the globe who don't actually know or don't care what it's about. Since I'm not as social as I used to be, I haven't been confronted to them again to know if I would try to educate them ...

Hey guys, I was bored the other day in class and was thinking about the meaning behind some names in Star Wars, most commonly the sith lords i.e.

Darth Sidious=insidious

Darth Plageius (sp?)=plague

Darth Maul=obvious

Darth Tyrannus=tyranny etc...

And a few days later in classiscal studies we were doing athenian democracy, and the ancient greek term "archon basileus" which is what the people that carried out religeous duties were called. This maybe the root of Bastila's ...

So I was flipping through my Dark Times issues 'cause I was bored and wanted to read them again. And because I started a thread on Legacy, I thought I'd post one for Dark Times as well.

All in all, Dark Times started out interesting, but it tapered off after the first story arc 'cause the story ended on such a flat note.

I love the characters, 'cause its the only title I've seen that have such an array of aliens really in the focus of the story, not all humans. Actually, Dass Jennir ...

So is there anyone else reading this series? I have to say since it started, its my favorite series yet of all Star Wars. I like the fact that its taken from what's established and actually evolved. I like the establishment of the Imperial Knights, the creation of the One Sith.

The One Sith is interesting to me, because Darth Krayt has gone against the grain and isn't trying to continue what Darth Bane had instated for their culture. He's risen them from nothing and made an impressive force. ...

How does one differentiate between the two, besides obvious age difference? They don't have hair, so they can't have the little braid. It shames me to say (to some extent), but this seems to be crucial information to me. Even if nobody oggling my picture (which is still in the works) would actually know the importance, I care, and must know! Is there any difference at all? Maybe something with their head gear...they seem fond of headband-thingers with cone-ear holes in them. *snerk* Hair extensions, ...

You can check out the archive here: http://www.theforce.net/Podcast

Everything is being discussed from movies, TV shows, merchandising, conventions, games, books, audio-books, the "EU", etc, etc... and RUMORS!!!

I just thought I'd start a little discussion about the latest Star Wars installment.

What do you guys think about the series? Good? Bad? Okay? How does it compare to Gendy Tartatovsky's short series that came out a few years ago on Cartoon Network, or even Karen Traviss's books?

You guys start!
