Sometimes a story or chapter takes some time to get exciting, so maybe showing a little bit of the building-up moment, funny parts or dialogue... I find it more interesting to get some of the "raw intel" rather than a fixed up, lazy summary or selling lines made by the author who might not like having to reduce his story ...
