(OOC) Role Bounties/Player for Hire

To keep advertising clutter out of the main OOC RP threads, this is a thread where people can post Role Bounties and can advertise characters/themselves for future RPs.

What the heck does this noob mean, you ask? It's simple.

If your RP is lacking, say 'civilians' or antagonists or a certain character, you can place a 'bounty' on a role and let people know it's needed. This way, you can advertise OUTSIDE the OOC planning thread that people are less likely to intrude in on, and get it out to the community in general.

EXAMPLE:

WANTED! A 'civilian-type' character to fulfill a 'bartender' role. May or may not become NPC, needed for plot hook. Willing to expand the role.


A Player for Hire can advertise his/her skills or characters here, too. Say you want to start a new character or get in a new RP you can advertise here for what you might be looking for.

This thread's idea is to prevent the huge influx of 'RP PLZ' threads I see on other sites. Inevitably more than one big RP is going to pop up here, so this might be useful later.

Just a bright idea I thought of. If it's not needed, then whatever.

PLAYER FOR HIRE: ASTER CORBETT

Willing to play any role needed in any timeline RP. Willing to do research.

CREDENTIALS: Over 8 years of RP and fanfiction experience. Strongly anti-Mary-Sue.

OBSTACLES: Have not RPed much Star Wars, fairly new to Mando fandom.

PREMADE CHARACTERS:

Aster Corbett, buyer and seller of ships, smuggler, 'independent freighter' and blockade runner. Fall of the Old Republic era(Republic supporter)/Rebellion era (Rebel supporter).

This is a good idea for the long run when there's more than one game. Unfortunately we only have one game right now which you are more than welcomed to join. We can always use a new character and work with you to make your character fit.

I wouldn't worry about your obstacles, there are players who are a little rusty or haven't done a board rpg before and they've got into the groove of things. I'm new to the Mando world too.
