| I just ordered the Ghost Recon novel by Tom Clancy on a whim. Following this discussion I thought I could use some more futuristic military literature and since I like the game I decided to give this a shot. Yes, I know it's yet another video game novelization but what can I do... Also, I received my SmudgeGuard in the mail yesterday but was too busy to start using it. It's actually pretty awesome: what it does it keep the side of your palm from "smudging" on the surface you're drawing on, especially if it's a pen tablet. Heat, sweat and rusty things can severely impair your drawing abilities after hours of doodling. Maybe I'll be able to work those art requests more comfortably and get those done on a more steady pace, eh? Your turn. But please spare us the consumables and everyday life items. Try to spend your money in ways that are relevant to this board | |

| Hahaha. Ghost Recon...I have a feeling the book is better, because I'm playing Advanced warfighter on the xbox and it's just abysmal...although, I do have the first three splinter cell novels, and those ain't bad.
What else...I bought the warcraft 3 battle chest today. I'm having so much fun with this game, I love it.

| Yes, the game play in Advanced Warfighter is like trying to get a penguin to fly. It could work with a big hard throw, but it will end up sliding down the ice and swim in the water as usual. I like the dose of realism in it though (played on PC).
Don't talk to me about Warcraft, I'm dealing with heavy WoW addiction syndrome here.

| I kind of want a tablet.
I see why the SmudgeGuard is a a good thing to have for a tablet. Pencil smudges don't bother me too much. If they do I just find a piece of paper to put over the drawing.

It's great, feels great and I no longer waste time erasing messy things coming from the fact that my hand gets too warm and the tablet starts thinking I'm trying to finger-paint.

Don't talk to me about Warcraft, I'm dealing with heavy WoW addiction syndrome here. LOL! Love the analogy Of course, besides the gameplay, you know what happens to me when I play? The goddamn game LAGS. Never in my life of playing xbox games have I had a game LAG (except for some minor bugs in K2, but I got over those). I think Ubisoft is so full of themselves they didn't care to properly oversee AW ported properly from the PC to the xbox. Sorry about that. I won't ever mention 'it' around here again

| I just purchased a twin-sized bed for my todder. (We're going to transfer him out of the crib during the month of April. I expect a LOT of sleepless nights!!) I also purchased a new dresser for my bedroom. Wow. Being a wife/mother/etc. is boring in comparison to everyone around here. | |

Wow. Being a wife/mother/etc. is boring in comparison to everyone around here. Don't worry, I also lead a boring life besides all the mando and geek stuff. If I had to mention all the furniture ordering, transporting, assembling and handywork I'm doing you'd smack your keyboard with a side of your face. So I just toss all of that crap to "offline world"

| Daennika whats with the ACU? Never really liked it, still think the cadpat is better the original digital camo and still the best [img] [/img] The main idea was to camo you on a night vision pixilated scope. Dosen't work, it's just a fashion show now. You gearing up for a summer offensive? | |

| I just bought a comic book pack of Quinlan Vos and Commander Faie action figures. I think Quin is awesome and he came with a clone commander. Double trouble. I'm little disappointed in Quinlan though. He's too pale. He's paler than Commander Faie. | |

| Very nice! Exactly what kind of car? You're kind of hiding the logo! Good luck with it and may "Ebon Hawk" take care of you. Don't forget that you don't pick the car -- the car picks you. (I've got a 2003 Blue PT Cruiser that I named "Phoenix." She's guided by Glyph (a blue repaint of Bumblebee from Transformers that is a female Autobot) who hangs from the rearview mirror along with an Obi-Wan Kenobi action figure. And, I swear Phoenix transforms when she wants to squeeze in places she's not supposed to fit! My husband has been a witness of this phenomenon on a few occasions, and even he couldn't believe it when it happened!!) | |

| Neat Catika! It certainly suits that name. I also got one yesterday ...I'm trying to give it a good Mando name but can't come up with any, it's gold in colour which in mando terms i suppose means vengeance if I'm right? I'll have to get a pic of it sometime. So yea any ideas are welcome | |

| Dha'Aden, we have Vau and Skirata cars! Bahahaha! Mar'buir, we also own a PT Cruiser! Ours is a later model though, we got it a couple of summers ago. It's kinda sky blue. It's a very cute car. Oh, and my car is a 99 Chevy Cavalier. lol across the street you can see what kind of car Tenna has. That's not hers though, it's my neighbor's. | |

| On the topic of named cars, my mother's old white and black van was dubbed Shamu (after the family had returned from a trip to Sea World) and my father's white truck was dubbed Mr. Polar Bear (after we moved to Alaska). So no need to worry about unoriginality, Catika! At least Ebon Hawk sounds a whole lot cooler than Mr. Polar Bear. Anywhoo, I bought a version of this thing. It didn't come with a mini-clone pilot, sadly. But now I have my very own larty to guard my desk! | |

I sadly could not come up with a mando name for my car and so named it after a mech in an anime called Code Geass; The Lancelot as they're the same colour and my car is a Lancer lol
