Good News Everyone! I've probably made you think this in his voice.

But I digress quickly.

I know I'm not around as much as I would like but I've been busy as hell. Seeing as it is my 3rd and final year in this program. Our graduating class is entitled to a performance in Toronto called Showcase. This is where the graduating years of all the provincial schools that have a musical theater program (ya, that's right Musical theater lol) get to perform in front of a whack of Agents and Casting Directors. I was 1 of 27 in my year.

So I performed my shtick. (for those of you interested it was Sebastien's monologue from Twelfth night "this is the air, that is the glorious sun" and Take a chance on me. From Little Women (not ABBA)).

so, we went on stage around 1 o'clock. we were there for about an hour and a bit. and were back on the bus. at 5:57, I know was this time because my voice mail told me this at 9 at night lol I received a phone call. It was an agent.

out of 27 students I was the only one who got a call. so now I'm in negotiations of when I can schedule a meeting with him and start lining up my career. and subsequently my life.

I'm Excited and Terrified at the same time but I know all my hard work is finally paying off.

That's awesome, Vlard'ika. Oh, and kudos for doing something from Twelfth Night and not, like, Hamlet or somethin'. I haven't really read much of Shakespear's works, but of what I have, Twelfth Night was my favorite.

Which, y'know, might have something to do with how my book was set up (it had a fair bit of notes on the sides explaining dirty jokes that were in it, like the whole "those are her C's, her U's, and her T's, and that is how she makes her P's!" in that one letter ), and the crossdressing, and all that happy-fun scandalous stuff, but...that doesn't change the fact that it's my favorite.

So, a little update. I meed with my agent on Monday the 1st and then we decide my fate from there. he may not even be what I'm looking for as far as representation is concerned. we'll see.
