| Heya vode, long time no see. Real life got busy a while back and I haven't been on in quite some time. Life has been pretty kandosii for me of late. At the start of this year I started uni and am studying design and loving it! Moved to the big city (well big for New Zealand anyway) and its great! I've still been doing costuming in my spare time (what little of I have these days) and I got a night job hunting bounties Haha I wish. God knows I need the money what with being a poor student now... I've done a few troops with the 501st in my Jango since I was last on here, and it is nearing completion, just got to finish off the jetpack and add a few details here and there for approval. I've set myself the deadline of late october for it's completion as there is a troop then and I've decided enough is enough and it needs to be finished. How has everyone else been? Tracyn | |

| Well speaking of costumes, for a completely different fandom altogether, I pretty well finished my Splinter Cell outfit, night vision tri-focal goggles and all. Granted I don't have the same guns Sam Fisher has in the games (an F2000 and a FiveSeven), but with the release of Conviction last year, I can get away with an MP5 and a P99.
Where in NZ are you? And design, thats...computer design, graphic design?

| I wish you all the best with your studies Tracyn, it's a competitive field... Good thing you have costuming on the side, your Jango is looking great, keep working on it! As for myself, I'm still working on my Scout Trooper since the boots kind of fell apart after the Paris Comic Con. I've ordered new ones made from a pro scout costumer in the UK, they were expensive, but they're made of the right stuff. Hopefully I can be trooping again soon. Other than that I'm still busy with work, but it's keeping me happy and I can afford to make a second costume It's going to be a Stormtrooper this time - sorry, why do I keep avoiding to make a Mandalorian? I guess I'm not that creative enough outside of my drawing skills. | |

| Yea costumes tend to be constantly evolving and there is almost always something you want to improve or make just that little bit better. Glad to hear work is going well for you Dae. TK's are all good What type are you going to go for? Death star shiny or sandy? Aw come on... Mando's aren't that difficult as far as costumes go, the helmet is about the trickiest part, and if you really need an excuse for procrastinating it you can always say you are just working your way up the ranks of costume bad-arsery | |

I got my 2pc Jango for like 20 bucks... I ended up getting a M-DSB for 150 though just because the quality was x10 better. High quality kits can get expensive yes, for those same reasons. My Scout helmet was $200 and my Stormy helmet is $230, from different makers though. I made this other blog for the next costume: http://storm5027.blogspot.com
