| As much as I love Canderous for giving us an insight into Mandalorian culture, I love HK a lot more because he's just so goddamn entertaining. | |

| HK, for sure. I loved Carth but--let's face it--he's kinda boring. Mission is annoying, Hanharr gives me nightmares, and I have an inappropriate crush on Canderous. So he's out. | |

| Oh my god. I fricking love Hanharr. There's some glitch that you can exploit, whereby you send his INT score into the negatives, but at the same time his other stats get bumped up times a gajillion.
On the other hand, he is a wraith, a big furry boogey man that likes to rip apart cute young human girls. I think that's why I also love him. He's so twisted, but he doesn't act like a bitch and try and hide it. He is what he is and doesn't underplay himself. | |

| I don't necessarily dislike any of the characters, but...HK gets my vote! Atton was pretty entertaining, though. Playing as Hanharr is always fun due to his sheer brutality. | |

| Best NPC has to be mission, anybody I talk to who hasn't played KOTOR 1 or 2 somehow knows about mission and how annoying she is | |

| Frankly that's a hard one. But I'll have to go with Canderous, as a merc in the first game. I was pretty disappointed initially by the way the look of the game was so different from the comics (dork alert!), but when Canderous came along it just felt as if he was the link I needed, as he was talking about having been in the sith war and all that. He also had the most characterisation aside from Carth of all the non-Jedi party members, and he was Mandalorian of the old school - a warrior with very strong ethics. And his Kotor self also had this desperation about him, which gave him his 3 dimensions as he was always in doubt and had to look to his past for comfort and reassurance. Deep down he was just an old man wanting to relive his youth, which is familiar to all old men I know. But then when he got to be Mand'alor in the next game, this desperation was lost and replaced by hope and assurance, and this lost him a great deal of the character he had, in part because the devs of that game didn't finish most of the party members. If they had given him another trait to replace that, he would have been on my favorite list as well. | |

| It's Canderous, especially in the first game. I love his bickering with Carth and Bastila, I love his tales and I admire the way he treats Revan. In fact, he's the only character who doesn't have any problems with finding out Revan's true self and the only truly loyal to Revan as a person and not as a holy cow of some stupid save/destroy-the-universe quest. I like this kind of attitude. In the second game... well, my Revan-self felt jealous for the Exile's sharing all the adventures with him, so it was a kind of unsettling feeling. Though I was glad to know he has found a purpose in ihs life again. Seeing him so down after that Jagi-related quest broke my heart. And if I could vote for numbers two and three, they would be T3-M4 and HK-47. Both of them are funny guys. | |

| HK-47! Aside from the fact that I can giggle all day at his commentary, he brought droids outta the beeping-cuteness they'd been relegated to and into the "Oh dear, sweet, fluffy Lord! RUN!" category. What's not to love? | |

| I really liked Mission Vao. I don't know why, but she and her buddy Zaalbar really hit a soft spot with me. Don't get me wrong, I liked ALL the non-jedi characters in both games, but Mission is just... Cute. She reminds me of my little sister - a scrappy, naive, unfailing optimistic kid who can make the most of even the worst situations. I think... the only reason people found her annoying was because of her voice and her need to show how "tough" and "grown up" she was. Which anyone at her age would do, but even moreso for her in particular because she literally "grew up on the street." She can take care of herself, and Revan is her... second big brother (canon wise). She's just unusual... but she's also a Twi'lek. And when she grows up.... ohohoho. | |
