| So I noticed it specifically says "Pumpkin Carving" in the list of viable entries to this forum. Therefore, I present you with this: + Post-carving, pre-lighting. + Me with my creation. ^_^ Looking forward to doing another of sorts this coming Halloween. | |

| That's great! About how long did it take and did you have a stencil you used to trace it first or was it free-hand?? | |

Took me about 20-30 minutes. Unfortunately, my drawing skills aren't nearly as good as my knife skills, so I didn't free-hand it. I printed up a picture of the skull from the internet, taped it to the pumpkin, then poked holes every so often along the outline. Pretty much made my own stencil, then pulled the paper off and cut along the pre-poked holes. It was originally more detailed, but the nose kept falling apart. - Zacic Volkshed wrote:

I've seen a few of those around. I didn't want to try anything too crazy since it was spur-of-the-moment, but I think it turned out well enough. We should have some sort of contest this year. That'd be neato, haha. Anyways, thanks guys. | |
