| Name: Andie, or Rabid, Hope, what-have-you. I answer to any of those! Age: 19, going on 20! The last of my teens...*sigh* And I don't remember much of them. O_o Location: DWF area, Texas Occupation: Part time trainee at Chapp's Cafe, part time sales associate in retail Hobbies: Writing, Reading, Art, obsessing =P Why are you here? My sister was the one who started this vicious cycle, quite a few years ago, around six years to the day, I think. She became obsessed with the character Sev, and anything to do with the clones. It was this passion for the clones and eventually, the Mandalorian culture, that got me intrigued with them, and I started to create my own characters. This was a few years ago, and it's been something in the back of my mind for a while since. Recently, a post-apocolyptic idea struck, and I incorporated that into a story I wrote a few years back. It's basically steampunk meets Star Wars. And this is also to get some advice and to keep my current interests current for a while! 8D My history with Star Wars in general: When I was about four, my parents got remarried. It wasn't long before my step-dad, whom I now just refer to as my dad, started watching his favorite movies with us toddlers around. Curious, I decided I liked it, and I have ever since. Boba always struck me as a mysterious, intriguing character, but it wasn't until Star Wars: Attack of the Clones came about that I really knew much about him. After that, my sister became obsessed with the game Republic Commando. And after that, as they say, the rest is history. Things we can judge you for: http://rabidpanda1313.deviantart.com/ , my main (and regrettably a little unnactive) art posting profile. http://www.fanfiction.net/~hopecarter : This is my fanfiction account. I write, ALOT, but I don't post my writing often. People seem to be more interested in yaoi, Naruto, or Disney fanart, and excluding one of my published stories on FF.net, I write about things that aren't as popular. Sorry for the long winded intro. XP

| Welcome, Andi / RabidHope, etc. I saw your title in the thread "Old Star Wars Fan" and I thought we had another old-timer around here like me. I've actually been a fan of Star Wars since I was three years old...back in 1977. So, now that makes it...(wait, need to get my abacus...) oh right, I've been a fan for approximately 32 years. (Yeah, a few members here refer to me as "Mar'buir," and I take that as a high compliment so feel free to use the same if you like!) Anyway, good to see you aboard! I think you'll find lots of fun Mandalorian / Clone topics here, and I hope you enjoy the topics we have to offer. | |

My dad has stories of seeing the films when they first came out, he was a little boy, less than ten years old. It's so awesome to meet fans who have been following this series since it started out! 8D And thank you for the warm welcome!

I'm really just gettting into steampunk, I wish I could say that I have a lot written, but I've only got about the first chapter written down. But, I'll have it in FF.net as soon as the first chapter is written down fully, and link it here! Also thank you for the exuberant welcome!

| Welcome, Rabid! Just wanted to let ya know real quick, your DA link has the comma as part of it, which kinda breaks it just a wee bit. It's good to see a new face around here. Hope you come to enjoy it, even if it is a bit quiet. ^_^' | |

| Just wanted to add a little something about my Mandalorian story, I'm developing his physical character right now. His name is Galaar Dalshy'a, but he renamed himself at around sixteen to A'den, to cover his tracks and to remind himself of a bitter and violent past.
Facially, he'll look like a cross between these three celebs: Brandom Beemer, Josh Holloway, and (hur hur) Temuera Morrison. Now I know what you're thinking, Gary Sue and what-not, but I have a theory. I'm new to the Mandalorian culture and what's what with them in the era after Jango Fett, but from what I've read on Wookiepedia, the Mandalorian population is pretty slow. So every now and then you'll run into descendants of well known characters, right? Here's where Morrison comes in. A'den is Jango Fett's many-times great grand son, in the era of Luke Skywalker's descendant, Kol Cade Skywalker. (Sorry about that, clicked the wrong article and got distracted hah!)
I won't give up much more than that other than the other main character, a Force Sensitive who becomes A'den's "apprentice," is fashioned after Katie Parry and Amanda Bynes, and the main source of the 'steam punk' theme. Tell me if you think I should change anything up so far, I know I'm not giving much other than what they look like, but still, it helps me and the writing process I go through.
