But as a kid, he wore the tunic of the Kaminoans and his boots were Mandalorian youth boots, at least according to the visual dictionary. So there's at least a part of the garment Mandalorian kids would wear.

He has no nipples... Maybe that's why he's Mand'alor? He could withstand losing his nipples in battle!

| Nice, I knew the Sith Empire had a hand in his rise. Now we've got a Mandalore the Ultimate lookalike. | |

| Okay, so I watched the latest video just to sate my curiosity... And, my first comment of it being nothing more than "Star Wars today without the Skywalker story" still rings true to my opinion. As for what everyone is complaining about the Gladiator Mand'alor? I dunno what the big deal is. I kinda like the idea of a guy who was brought into power, even if it was due to Sith interaction behind the scenes. Its actually interesting to me that he was simply a pawn to get the Mandalorians into a force of power, just to do the Sith's needs. But what's the issue over his helmet? I like it. He's a gladiator. He's not like Boba Fett. He's not out using technology. He's a gladiator. No need for all the high tech gear. So no need for a HUD display visor. Plus, he didn't start out as a standard Mando. He was just a warrior who the Sith agent got everyone calling him Mand'alor and he ran with it. Personally, I liked the idea of his character being used the way he was. Its a shame they killed him because the "New Mand'alor" looks like a copy/past of Mand'alor the Ultimate. PLEASE GOD DON'T LET IT BE A CLONE! | |

| I'm just wondering if they had plans to kill off the gladiator from the get go or if that was by divine, or rather rabid fans' intervention... | |

THANK YOU. I really, really don't mind him. It's something different. (That's all I got, my computer was lagging hard yesterday and I only watched half of the new video. )

| Its cool and different. And the outcome of it is that there is another Mandalorian that kills the Glatiator Mandalore to become the Mandalore himself. Again, we have something that doesn't happen. Normally, the new Mandalore either finds the mask, or is asked to be Mandalore by the last Mandalore on his death bed. | |

| Actually Kal, that's not the way it works.
What happens is the editors and producers and the publishers of LFL go, "You know, this guy'll be a cool Mand'alor." So that's what happens.
And from what I hear, BioWare has said if its voiced loud enough on their SWTOR forums, it MIGHT get listened to. So I'm going to assume, from the rabid whining I saw here, that it was more than likely twenty-fold over on the SWTOR forums and they all went, "Well. No one likes this idea, lets fix it really quick." Then they copy/pasted the Mand'alor the Ultimate into the story. 'Cause, God forbid, yanno, there be anything ORIGINAL in the story.
And, Kal, they didn't say Mand'alor the Copy/paste did kill the Mand'alor the Gladiator. They just said Kurt Russel had died, and a new one had taken his place. Then they hinted that he could be a Sith pawn as well or a Mand'alor of his own devices.
The Mandalorians don't learn their lessons very well. Which makes more sense to me as to why they decide to go pacifistic in 700 BBY. They're tired of getting duped. double crossed and fucked over by all the Force users.

| I know. I was just trying say it is ok by me, because yes, it is a copy and pase Mandalore, but I prefer that over one that was put into power by the Sith. It makes the Mandalorians look weak. He killed the Gladiator Mandalore, then more power to him. Gladiator shouldn't be Mandalore anyway if the Sith rigged the battles. | |

| Woo hoo! Mand'alor the Copy/Paste is really a shrunken head!
Honestly, they were better off with Mand'alor the Gladiator.

Gosh I hope you were joking. That's the worst piece of artwork I've ever seen. I mean, look at his armor, look at his shoulders, look at the red drapings and tell me that's what you want to see as a great leader. Now look at his head. I want to Photoshop this so that it looks proportionally correct.

| I generally object to anything the developers of TOR are producing. Especially with this Mandalore and the guy that kills him to become the new Mandalore. The looks aside, they don't even use Mando'a to give themselves titles in the actual language. It was one thing for the writers of 'Tales of the Jedi' when that Taung warriour (who would eventually be known as 'Mandalore the Ultimate') proclaimed "Now I am the new Mandalore!," because that was a decade and a half ago when the idea of a full fleshed out Mando culture hadn't been thought out yet. So to even try and pass this guy and his successor off as actual Mandalorians is silly. The developers don't even care about the Mandalorians, so accepting their version of the Mandos is preposterous.
Ok, I'll stop. I feel if I go any further I'll indulge in mass TOR bashing, and I'm going to guess everybody else here has had enough of that. I apologize. Just had to get that out. Please continue.

| Im actually ok with the new concept, because if you think about it, this was at a time where Mand'alors pass down their mask and armour to their successor, so even if it looks like Mand'alor the Ultimate, it still makes sense to me that it would be similar armour, as it was passed along. | |

| A majority of the Mando'ade names are fan translations if you look into it. Not to mention you don’t even know his story yet so it would be ignorant to say its done wrong before you know how its done.
My guild will be giving Biowares new Mandalore a chance, if he turns out to be another fake, or they simply do it wrong, then we will talk about a Mandalorian rebellion of sorts. It would be foolish to fight off Mandalorian content without giving it a chance.

| I like the new Mandalore. He looks like a mix of the Indomitable and the Ultimate, the former being one of my favourite characters of the Kotor era. His proportions are far off, but I guess this is another of Bioware's stylized realities. But looking at the Ultimate, his proportions aren't off yet he looks amazing. | |
