Your stepson is watching one of those science shows on Discovery or TLC, you see the title "ARC Welder" go across the screen for one of the people in the show, and you instantly jump up and yell, "ARC!!"

Additionally, you're convinced that aforementioned franchise takes place in the distant past of the Star Wars galaxy.

...when you read a plastic cup lid stamped with 'SOLO' and proceed to recite dialogue from Jabba the Hutt.

...when you use aurebesh/trade fed. numbers/mando alphabet in your notebooks (or anywhere else) on a regular basis
(however I've found it nearly impossible to use the mando alphabet fast enough to actually write notes in classes and still make it readable while also making them look like the original letters)

... whenever you hear Santa's 'ho-ho-ho' you expect him to go on with 'Han, ma buki' (and you're slightly disappointed when he doesn't)
