Hi! thanks for the welcome Catika, and indeed, is the Official RPG published by Wizards of the Coast, based on D20, and of course I play Dungeons & Dragons too. The Campaign we are playing is based between Episode 2 and Episode 3, our first Mission was on Geonosis.

Well was recommended here by Revan and thought I'd try it. The only other forum I frequent is the BFFC and was looking for more RPGs.

Honestly I don't have much. Can't draw worth beans. I try as ideas for many different stories come into my head so I write them down and then come up with characters. So really not many things in the creative aspect for me. I really enjoy writing backstories for characters though.

Daennika showed me the Forum and as I love Mandalorians, their culture and language I wanted to join in xD Also I don't have anything to do in the moment, what is not right, I've got plenty of things to do, but I prefer to ignore them and just write in some Forums xD So yeah, I hope to have a lot of fun here and meet nice people *shrugs*

My spelling and grammar, as I learn English only in school. My laziness when it comes to some things and my hyperacticity when it comes to other things. And my stories, if I'm ever going to finish one. I owe my best friend a story since last november or so ^^'

Welcome here, Cabur

Don't worry about the English, after a few weeks reading these pages you will get more comfortable. Sometimes I doubt myself too so I use very simple grammar, short sentences and baby-words. Save the proper grammar and smart terms for story-writing, I say!

Make sure you check the "Mando Stories" board where we try to help others with inspiration, methods and encouragement! Even if you don't want to publish your stuff yet, a little mutual help is always great.

Mostly I'm just loosing motivation while writing ^^' But I hope I'll finish some piece of writing soon^^

Believe me when I say I had the same problem for YEARS. When I started publishing stuff on Fanfiction.net last year, having people read and review my chapters really boosted my confidence and I've managed to finish my first story ever. It took me years to find the courage to ever show anything online though. You can start small by posting your ideas and stories here and I promise you'll get at least some attention.

That's not really that big problem. I showed some FanFictions allready and some of them got attention but my problem was, and is, that I'm miles away with the plot allready and can't wait to get to one special point. And as I see how long it will take the motivation leaves me. But maybe I should write a few One-Shots about Mando'ade, I mostly finished OneShots.

Like Daennika said, don't be shy about showing off some writing! We would be happy to give whatever advice we can to help you out, if you want. Sometimes all the motivation you need is a group of like-minded nerds to keep you going. :p

Yeah you're propably right. When I write for my best friend for example I always finish, I also intend to finish the story I'm writing since november xD

Writing something does help you learn a language, and by just watching British/American/Australian etc, movies does give your English a very good shot in the arm. But don't worry - by 17 I didn't speak English at all, could only read it and wrote with a terrible grammar. Your English is very understandable.

Hehe, English is probably the easiest language to learn in existance, and it is very easy for native French speakers because of the abundance of French words in English - just pronounced differently.

Probably the reason English is replacing French now as the global tongue.

Guys, you're going way off topic and to lead you back in the right direction I'm gonna say that unlike what Gratulor said, English seems to be extremely difficult to learn for my fellow Frenchmen (ha ha ha) due to lack of interest in a foreign language. I know many people (friends, coworkers, relatives) that failed at life because they can't speak any English at all.

It's hard to find other Mando fans in real life, and so I'm forced to join forums like these (nothing wrong with places like these) to meet other avid fans. I love the Mandalorian culture (not just the armour, which is of course bad ass), and I especially love what Karen Traviss is doing. IMO, she's saving the Mandos from other authors who would simply get them killed off in some mini-plot, the fools.

As I mentioned earlier, I do SW online RPing at a site called "The Galaxy." Anyway, I'm an admin there, and, well, my character is also Mandalore (set about 13-18 years after K1 and 2; Ordo is dead). I've done a lot of work making the Mando faction the best on the board, as well as writing military RPs - actual Mandalorian Crusades. I also incorporate a lot of real world history (names, ideas, locations, but not exact translations) into my RPs.

On a side note, a lot of people here are named "Fett" already. I recommend that new members choose other Mando surnames before this place is completely overrun with Fetts!

Yes, I'm a Fett fan, have been since I was a kid. The whole 'Douglas Fett' thing I coined up during High School, part ego and part fascination with Boba and Jango.

Heh, a Fett slumberparty...I'd imagine it'd be a camping trip really, all of us around the camp fire drinking tihaar and boasting about our Jedi kills :p

Yah Catika, I'll take a look and see if I'm interested. I can assure you I'm not a n00b RPer and won't do anything crazy, I've been RPing online since 2005 (2003 if you count mini RPing at the SW.com message boards), so I have a lot of experience. I prefer the KOTOR era, but I'm sure I can make an exception if this site is Empire era. Also, the title I gave to myself is the Mando'a name my character has as Mandalore on the site I RP at. If I didn't screw up the Mando'a/English translation, it should be "Mandalore the Shadow"

And yes, I'm a history major. If I tried to major in anything else I'd probably have gone insane. History is the only field I like, as well as something that I can remember quite well.
