I’m a huge Karen Traviss fan, and I absolutely loved the neo-Crusaders in KOTOR.

I guess I’m also someone that can “see” themselves in the RCs in her books because I too was not wanted my genetic parents and was adopted as a teenager by my parents. My papa might not have been a Mando merc (though he was retired US Air Force and served in Korea), but he and Kal had a lot in common; if we lived in the SW galaxy I think they would have been good friends.

I find Fi to be very inspirational as I am suffering from a disease of the brain that affects my life (right now I cannot drive or work, or, well, do much of anything really), and reading about his struggles to get his life back together after his brain injury gives me hope that one day I can have my life back despite my disease (though I do wish I had a friend like Bard’ika to hurry things along).

I’m Mandalore and Emperor on FSC though those are kind of garbage on the current site and you have to read back before I got sick (the archived site) if you want to see me doing anything interesting on there.

I did some trite nonsense on deviant ART (http://ladyviola21.deviantart.com/) and some even worse nonsense on ff.net (http://www.fanfiction.net/~sithangel77.) I no longer use either account, I’m hoping to get some time soon and start a new Mereel-centric fanfic set a little after Imperial Commando. If I can ever get off my lazy shebs (or maybe on it is more appropriate?) and write, that is.

I love your Occupation: Survivor

I say that because your medical issues really struck a chord with me as I'm a cancer suvivor.

You will be in my thoughts during your trials with your disease. If you ever need to vent about it, I've felt it all: anger, resentment, sadness, joy, depression...

Lucky for me, I was finally able to overcome my cancer after three years, but it was not an easy struggle when it seemed everything I wanted to do in life was hindered by that constant reminder I was never going to have a normal life.

Now, I'm looking on almost 7 years in remission.

I'm glad you have a support system with your family (adopted doesn't matter...they are the ones who LOVE you and CARE..."Family is more than blood..."). Having that loving support is one of the biggest things to help you deal and carry on.

Again, I offer a warm welcome to you and hope we can offer an escape from your reality from time to time.

Welcome aboard, Sav. I might occasionally call you V and imagine your avatar doing the speech from V for Vendetta, but as a rule I like to know people by one name or I just confuse myself.

My name is actually just my online username I've had since I was 12 or so play Jedi Outcast, my first online game. Back when MSN Zone was the fun way to find games for Jedi Outcast, I misspelled "Teaser" and it came out "Teaster" and it has stuck ever since.

It's quite amusing because I'm a lover of tea so it kinda goes along with the name. As for the drink, it's a smoothie from Phoenix Comicon... Which are very expensive, I must point out.

Hello to another fellow Arizonian... It does get quite hot in the armour but it's a small price to pay for looking awesome xD

I'm pretty sure all the food/drinks at Phoenix Comicon were super-expensive, haha. Hopefully it tasted better than the burgers!

Considering how hot it gets without armour, I don't even want to consider how bad it must be with armour!

I know... It's like if the con food is going to be expensive, it could atleast be really tasty or good. The smoothies were nice though! It was hot in the armour though sometimes and you can get dehydrated pretty quick. Thus the smoothie ^^.
